Shadowtaw Ridge™ — Return & Rehome Policy

1) Lifelong Commitment

Every Shadowtaw Ridge™ dog is part of our pack for life. No dog bred by us will ever be abandoned, surrendered to a shelter, or placed in rescue. If circumstances change and Buyer can no longer keep the dog, Shadowtaw Ridge™ must be contacted immediately.

2) First Right of Refusal

Buyer agrees that the dog will not be rehomed, sold, or transferred without written consent from Shadowtaw Ridge™. The Breeder retains the first right to reclaim the dog at no cost, or to approve and assist in rehoming to an appropriate new home.

3) Return Procedure

• If Buyer cannot keep the dog, the dog must be returned to Shadowtaw Ridge™ or rehomed with Breeder’s written approval.
• Buyer will provide health records, registration papers, and any microchip transfer documents at the time of return.
• No refunds are guaranteed. Refunds or credits toward future puppies are at the sole discretion of the Breeder.

4) Owner Responsibilities During Transfer

Until the dog is returned or rehomed under Breeder’s supervision, Buyer remains responsible for all care, expenses, and safe housing. Transportation arrangements will be coordinated with Breeder.

5) Breeder’s Rights

Shadowtaw Ridge™ reserves the right to refuse approval of any potential new home that does not meet our standards of care. Breeder may reclaim the dog directly if Buyer attempts to rehome without written approval.

6) Governing Law & Venue

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Venue lies in or near Coal County, Oklahoma (or another mutually agreed Oklahoma venue). If any clause is held unenforceable, the rest remains effective.

7) Electronic Signatures

This policy may be executed electronically. Electronic signatures, typed names with checkbox assent, and platform-captured timestamps/IP logs are intended to be valid under the U.S. ESIGN Act and Oklahoma UETA.
