Welcome to Go-Home Day
Go-home day is the moment your Shadowtaw pup leaves our pack to join yours. We want you fully prepared so it’s smooth, exciting, and stress-free for both puppy and family.
📅 Scheduling & Location
Farm Appointments Only – all pickups are scheduled at our farm (no walk-ins).
Shipping/Transport – available on request for approved homes only. Additional fees apply.
Go-Home Age – puppies are ready for new homes starting at 8 weeks of age.
💳 Deposits & Payment
Deposits ($300) are requested only after application approval and applied to the final purchase price.
Remaining balance is due at pickup.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed when your application is approved.
📦 What’s Included
Every Shadowtaw pup goes home with:
Prepaid AKC Registration
Pre-registered AKC Reunite Microchip (lifetime enrollment)
First veterinary wellness exam & vaccines
Health records packet (vet notes, vaccine/parasite schedule, microchip number)
Puppy starter kit (food sample, toy, scent blanket)
Lifetime breeder support & return-to-breeder clause
📝 Contracts
All puppies are sold on limited registration (no breeding rights) unless otherwise approved.
Breeding rights are available by request only: +$1,000 to purchase price, requires a separate Breeding Rights Contract.
All buyers sign a Puppy Sales Contract and a Spay/Neuter Agreement (unless breeding rights are granted).
🐶 Meet Alli
Alli is part of our Shadowtaw support pack — she helps socialize the puppies, keeps the pack balanced, and adds a calm presence on pickup days.
Role: Puppy mentor & comfort dog
Personality: Gentle, steady, quick to welcome new families
Why she matters: She helps puppies handle the transition from our pack to yours with less stress.
👜 What to Bring on Pickup Day
A secure crate or travel carrier for the ride home
Photo ID (for contract verification)
Payment balance (as agreed)
A small towel/blanket in case of accidents

🐾 First Week at Home
Vet Visit: Schedule your first puppy exam within 72 hours of pickup.
Food Transition: We’ll provide a starter bag of their food; transition gradually.
Routine: Keep things simple — short play, potty breaks, naps.
Comfort: Some pups can be sensitive to storms or stress; we’ll share any comfort strategies specific to your puppy.
