Little Donna

Little Donna is the matriarch of Shadowtaw—our foundation dam and, simply put, the best mother you could ask for. Texas-ranch bred from a program that produces real herding dogs, she brings off-the-charts genetics—sound structure, clean movement, and rock-steady temperaments. OFA/CHIC–cleared, she’s a textbook whelper: calm, attentive, generous with milk, and spotless in the nest. She’s also uniquely emotionally attuned—Donna can sense when you’re stressed, sad, or mad, and she’ll lean in, soften her eye, or stay close until you settle. That gift shows up in several of her pups. When we keep youngsters as keepers, Donna shifts into mentor mode—extra love when it’s needed, fair discipline when it counts—so they grow confident and mannered without losing heart. The result is what she’s known for: balanced, biddable, family-ready dogs.
